How to Use And Install R4/r4I/r4I Gold/r4I Sdhc Firmware

So you bought a ds flashcard either for one of the following two reasons.

You don’t have that kind of money to just keep buying ds games or you just find it very annoying to keep having to get up and go to the store to purchase every new ds game that is released.So now you have bought a ds flashcard to eliminate these problems.But you don’t know HOW to use the flashcard.This is where I can help you.

First of all you need to install the firmware.

Follow the link for instructions or you can just take the instructions from this text. Make sure you have a micro SD card.

Steps:

1. If you have an R4 go to r4ds.com,if you have an R4i go to r4ids.com,if you have an R4i Gold go to r4igold.com,if you have an R4i SDHC go to r4i-sdhc.com.

2.Go to the catergory “downloads” or “downoad”.

3.Download the lastest version in whatever language or country you’re from.

4.Take the micro SD card and and insert it into the thing shaped like a usb and plug it into your computer.

5.(Make sure you have winrar to extract the file you just downloaded.You can download winrar at rarlabs.com.Download and install it.)Open the file you just downloaded from the R4 site and highlight all the files there and click extract to the specified folder.In the box with Destop and My Documents and the other stuff,click Removable Disk and click ok.

6.Now for the roms.Go to ndsuniverse.com and download whatever NDS game you want.Then extract it with winrar to the removable disk.

7.Now safely remove the “removable disk” and take the micro SD card out of the USB look-alike and put it into the R4/R4i/R4i Gold/R4i SDHC card and just put that card into your DS, boot up the game.

8.Enjoy!!
